Transcriber's Note
This book was transcribed from scans of the original found at the Internet Archive. The page scans were done by Google. The original book used accents (á) but I have replaced these with macrons (ā) as this would be considered a morecorrect way to spell the names in question. Variant spellings in the text have been left alone.

KRISHNA MY BELOVED
I beg to present this my humble work to theEnglish reader. It is the history of theUniverse from its birth to its dissolution. I haveexplained the science of creation, its makingand its mechanism. In doing so I have drawnmy information from the recorded facts inthe Sacred Books of the Root-Race ofmankind. Some facts and explanations are hereinfurnished for the first time in any modernlanguage. This book embodies true Hinduism.
If read with an open mind, it will serve thereader with illumination and solve many ariddle of life, untie many a tangle of thought.I have spoken throughout from out of thedepths of the ages. I have thought absolutelyin Sanscrit and expressed myself in English,an imperfect medium for expressing Sanscrit, ideas. My object has been to impress myreaders with the substance of Hindoo thoughtin all its purity. This has not been done beforeeven by Hindoo writers on Hindoo religionand philosophy. They have cared to humorthe Western readers, by putting in a mixtureof Western thought and dressing it up inWestern ways of expression. I have not done so,because I know that in reading an Easternbook the Western mind wants purely Easternthought in pure Eastern dress.
This will afford all soul-hungry readers withenough healthy food and drink. The firstpart of the book contains the food, the Kernelof the Soul-cocoanut; the second part, itsSweet Milk. The third part is from KrishnaHimself. It is the purest Nectar of SpiritualLove. Let the reader open his heart to it, andI am sure it will fill it with ecstasy. Thesoulful reader will thrill with the joyous vibrationsof every sentence of the "Messages andRevelations."
The belief that our life begins with the birthof this physical body and ends with its deathis the worst superstition, because it is theworst obstacle in the way of our soul'sunfoldment. This life has sprung from Eternity;it draws its breath in Eternity, and is finallyabsorbed by Eternity which is Absolute Love.To know that we, hum
